Mango's £30 bucket bag looks very similar to £4,115 Hermes version

Shoppers are loving a £30 bag from Mango that is very similar to a designer version - but for around £4,085 less.

The fashion retailer is known for having high quality dupes of high-end brands and supplies millions of shoppers with its products. Shoppers regularly post on social media about which Mango products they are loving at the moment, and Mango often updates its channels with new items when things come back in stock.

This time, it was the padlock mini shopper bag that caught people's eye, with Instagram users saying it looks like the Hermes gold clemence picotin lock bag, without the hefty price tag. The two bags are similar in shape and colour, though the price tags are very different.

The dupe was shared by Instagram page @galsonthehighstreet, an account that shares ‘the best women's high street fashion and beauty’.The two bags are similar, both featuring the same shape, tan colour scheme and padlock at the front.

Sharing a photo of the two bags side by side, the page said: “Keep watching @freyakillin Hermes unboxings, & spotted this on @mango, picotin vibes such a timeless bag!”

However, the Hermes bag is a lighter shade of brown and also features a strap on the front and back, where the padlock is connected. The Hermes bag is currently available online for £4,115, while the Mango bag retails for £29.99 - this means shoppers could save around £4,085 by opting for the dupe.
